Terms of service.

These terms apply when you commission work from Whealbit or use one of our platforms. They are written to be readable, not to bury anything.

What we provide

We design and build websites and custom software, and we operate our own SaaS platforms. The specifics of any client project are agreed in writing before we begin, including scope, price and timeline.

The free homepage draft

For new website projects we build your homepage first, live on a private link, before you pay anything. If you decide not to proceed, you owe us nothing and we take the draft down. If you proceed, the draft becomes the starting point for your build.

Pricing and payment

We quote fixed prices wherever we can, and we tell you the full cost before we start. The price does not change unless you ask us to add something, which we will quote separately. Payment terms are set out in your project agreement.

Ownership

On completion and full payment, the website we build for you is yours. You own your domain and your content, and you are never locked in. Our own platforms remain ours, and your use of them is covered by each product's terms.

The care plan

Ongoing hosting and maintenance are optional and described on the pricing page. You can cancel a care plan at any time and keep your site.

Responsibilities

• You provide the content, access and approvals we need to do the work.
• You confirm you have the right to use any material you give us.
• We deliver the agreed work to a professional standard and keep you updated.

Liability

We take care to get things right, but we cannot accept liability for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid for the work in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of its courts.
