The company
Are you really based in Cornwall?
Yes. We are based in Penzance and work with businesses across Cornwall and the wider UK. You can reach the people who actually built your software, not a support queue in another time zone.
Do you build products, or websites?
Both, in that order. Whealbit is a product company first: we design, build and operate our own SaaS platforms. Alongside that, we take on a small number of client projects and hold them to the same standard.
Working with us
Do you really build my homepage before I pay?
Yes. We design and build your homepage live, on a private link, before you have paid anything. Click through it, show your team, and only carry on if you love it. If you do not, you walk away owing nothing.
Do I own my domain and hosting?
Yes. You own your domain, and you are never locked in. If you ever decide to leave, the site is yours to take with you.
Can I update the content myself?
Yes. You get a client portal where you can log change requests and track them in real time. For most clients that is easier than wrestling with a page-builder, but we are happy to set you up to edit directly too.
What is the care plan, and can I cancel it?
It covers hosting, content updates, security patches and performance monitoring. It is free for the first year, then £120 a year, or £10 a month. You can cancel any time and keep your site.
How long until my site is live?
A homepage draft is usually ready in three to five working days. Larger, multi-page or custom builds vary, and we will give you a clear timeline before we start.
Why custom-coded rather than WordPress or Webflow?
Templates and page-builders are quick to start and slow to live with. They get heavy, they get hacked, and they fight you the moment you need something specific. We write the code ourselves so your site stays fast, secure and exactly right.

Can I try your platforms?
Yes. WagePilot, StayBinder, CleanFlo and QWTN all have a free starting tier or a free trial. You can be up and running without a card, and the detail lives on each product site.

Your data
Where is my data stored?
Inside the UK and the EU. It does not get shipped elsewhere to cut costs. You can read the full detail on our data and security page.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes, by design rather than as an afterthought. Clear consent, clear retention, and clear rights: you can see, export, correct or delete your data whenever you need to.
