About

An independent software company from Cornwall.

Whealbit builds software and keeps running it. We started out designing websites, and grew into a company that owns and operates its own products.

We began the way most studios do, building websites for local businesses. The more we built, the more we noticed the same problems repeating: spreadsheets holding teams together, commission eating into margins, software that nobody actually owned.

So we started building products of our own. Today WagePilot keeps shifts and wage bills under control for teams that do not sit at a desk, and StayBinder gives holiday-let guests everything they need from a single QR code. We design them, host them, support them and improve them every week.

We still take on client work, and we hold it to the same standard. The difference is that we know what it takes to run software long after launch, because we do it ourselves every day.

We own and operate a portfolio of SaaS platforms, in daily use by businesses across the UK. Each one started as a problem worth solving properly.

Giving back

Websites for charities, on the house.

We design and build websites for registered UK charities, free, and host them at no cost for the first year. If you run a good cause, the work is on us.
